While many places teach the fighting and self-defense aspects of Karate, very few also teach the spiritual and philosophical benefits of Karate-do. Karate means empty hand; Karate-do means the way of the empty hand.

By studying Karate-do, you will learn:

Self-defense
Confidence
Self-control

Testing

We test every four months.  Students do not take short-cuts.  Even though one may be extremely talented, great growth takes place as we take our time and nurture our skills.

Patience

Patience is the greatest attribute of Karate.  Like going to a fine eatery, karate students must learn to appreciate the effort and time required to develop quality.  A fast meal usually means an average or less than average meal.  However, a quality meal requires the proper ingredients, preparation and just the right time to cook.  That's US.
